Over 2000 players have died after a month of play in Sword Art Online, and no one has as of yet completed the 1st of the 99 stages of game-play it takes to complete the game. There is no other way to describe the situation of the players than to say desperate.
In this episode of Sword Art Online ,Episode 2, players are gathered together in order to defeat the boss of the first level in order to move onto the next stage. Players argue that beta testers, like our main character Kirito, were responsible for all 2000 deaths that too place within the game and the real world. You can see the grief and regret in Kirito’s eyes as he takes in the reality of the situation, but when it is revealed that the beta testers released game guides for all players to follow his level of regret recedes but is still palpable.
Asuna
While grouping he meets a female player, which is a rarity among MMORPG’s but certaintly not impossible to find, by the name of Asuna, who I assume will be a major player since her character is in the intro and ending of the anime, and also because she kicks ass when they finally do confront the boss.

First stage Boss Battle against Illfang the Kobold Lord
The action in Sword Art Online did not let me down one bit. As soon as the battle started you could see all of the players striking, moving and dogging with a skill of the warrior, and the camera work and direction was key in making you feel apart of the action. This anime continues to be wonderfully breathtaking and I cant wait to see more!
