Just heard some fresh news about Pokemon. Seems that there will be Pokemon sequels in the works for the somewhat recently released Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. It wont be for the Nintendo 3DS though which is a bit of a let down. I am sure that many Pokemon fans were looking forward to that, hopefully they will change up the game play and make it more interactive.
Here are the things I want for the new Pokemon game:
1. Updated visuals: The game needs to look better. It can still have its stylized look but it feels like there is so much more that they can do in order to make me feel part of the pokemon world. I would love to be able to see actual Pokemon walking in the grass or swimming in the ocean.
2. Enhanced Gameplay: The dsi and 3ds have cameras, why dont they use them as a special way to catch rare Pokemon. Another thing is that I am extremely tired of looking at the back of my Pokemon’s head during a battle. Why cant we see a 3d arena where Pokemon can brawl?
3. Character Customization. I would really like to be able to design my own Pokemon trainer. Even if its something as simple as a change of clothes. I think this is entirely possible and would make the journey of the trainer an even more personal story.
Besides hearing the awesome Pokemon News, my week has been pretty lax since the recent death of my Xbox 360. I am sure there are many of you that feel my pain. I was enjoying kingdoms of Amalur but now I am forced to use my Nintendo 3DS and play Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked, which has been pretty fun. I’m on the 3rd day and am currently on a mission to kill the immortal demon Beldr. Will I survive?
