Just when I thought that the delay of Mass Effect 3 would lead pretty lackluster Fall gaming lineup, I was bombarded by many games, and have more than enough of a backlog to last me until Mass Effect 3 actually comes out. Right now, I have been playing through The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, while taking a few breaks to purchase a few remaining titles during these crazy Black Friday sales.
I really love Skyward Sword so far, and am impressed by how, Un-Zelda it feels at times. Each battle requires you to pay attention to your enemies’ actions and the Wii Motion+ is really responsive once you get use to the fact that your Wii-Remote is a sword. I am more than halfway done so far, and am really impressed. When I am taking a break from Zelda, I find myself playing Phantasy Star II simply because it was on sale and was a classic from my childhood. Oh well back to Zelda, full review next week.
